Who we are and what we actually do
Betanbeta is a small local business based on Buru Buru Road in Garissa, Kenya. We offer three core things: hands-on services for households and small businesses, a slot-based appointment system that respects your time, and a curated product range stocked entirely on the basis of what Garissa residents have asked for. We are not a franchise, a chain, or an aggregator platform. Every customer interaction happens with a member of our own team, and decisions about what we stock, what we charge, and how we operate are made here in Garissa — not remotely by someone who has never visited. We have served more than 800 customers since opening and have maintained a consistent returning-customer rate that we are genuinely proud of. How we work — and where our limits lie
Our team is small by design. We keep it that way because a larger operation would require us to compromise on the individual attention that makes Betanbeta worth using. On any given day, two to three team members are available for service visits, appointment slots, and product queries. We take on around 12 service jobs per week — enough to keep quality high and timelines honest. We do not promise turnaround times we cannot meet, and we do not take deposits for work we are not confident we can schedule within five working days. Where a task falls outside our scope — structural work, specialist electrical installations, large-scale logistics — we say so promptly and, where possible, suggest alternatives. Our founding principle, still in practice in 2025, is that a customer who leaves with an honest answer is more valuable to us than one who leaves with a promise we later have to break. Garissa is a city where reputation travels fast. We have built ours carefully and intend to keep it.
